Signs you've got mice or rats

  1. Droppings

Mouse droppings are small, like grains of rice. Rat droppings are bigger, roughly the size of a raisin.

  2. Gnaw marks

Chewed food packets, skirting boards, cables or pipes. Rodents' teeth never stop growing, so they gnaw constantly.

  3. Noises at night

Scratching or scurrying in walls, ceilings, under floors or in the loft, usually after dark.

  4. Smear marks and nests

Greasy marks along walls and skirting, and nests made of shredded paper, fabric or loft insulation.

Why it's worth acting fast

Mice and rats breed fast. A single female mouse can have several litters a year, so a couple of visitors can become a real problem within weeks.

They contaminate food and surfaces, and rats can spread diseases such as Weil's disease (leptospirosis). Gnawed cables are also a fire risk.

How we raid mice or rats

  1. Raid.

Your Raider inspects your home, looks for droppings, runs and gaps, and works out how they're getting in. You get a free quote there and then.

  2. Remove.

Happy with the price? We treat the problem using methods that suit your home, placed out of reach of children and pets, and explain exactly what we've used and where.

  3. Relax.

We show you the entry points to seal so they can't get back in. If they do come back, so do we, at no extra cost.
